Branding Building 101

What is a brand? It is the essence of a company. And that essence seeps into every aspect of that company.

Company culture is birthed out of your brand. The way you handle customer service, online presence, and onboard and communicate with your team all flows from company culture. {Even if you’re a solo entrepreneur, branding is a necessity, especially if you have goals of expanding your team.}

Branding is a spokesperson, if you will, for your business. It communicates for you when you can’t talk directly to a client.

Here are just some elements of a building a brand:

  • Company Name
  • Colors
  • Tagline
  • Core Values (or Pillars)
  • Voice
  • Messaging
  • Strategy
  • Logo

This list may seem overwhelming, but digging down and establishing your brand will help you stay on track when you hire team members, market your product or service, and more!

I challenge you to evaluate your company’s brand or to establish a brand if you haven’t. If you need some inspiration, check out some amazing brands like Chik-Fil-A, Coca Cola, and Business Boutique.
